Mtoni Marine Centre
Mtoni Marine is located on the west coast of Zanzibar, 10 minutes north of
Stone Town and neighboring the legendary Mtoni Palace. This laid back and family friendly hotel
is the ideal location from which to explore Stone Town and the rest of the island, while
providing a peaceful retreat from it all. The hotel offers great facilities including a
newly built infinity pool, a variety of restaurants and entertainment, The traditional
Mrembo spa, the neighboring Mtoni Palace where Princess Salme was born and the

Each of the rooms come
equipped standard with: mosquito nets; air conditioning; ceiling fans; en-suite bathrooms;
and electronic safes. All of the rooms are located in the lush tropical garden of the
marine centre and they are divided in groups. The Palm Court rooms are considered
some of the best and they are located in a double storey block of buildings that
overlook the sea. Each room has its own private balcony or verandah. The four
upper rooms have baths with views of the sea while the four lower rooms have
showers. Very well appointed and they are
favourites among the guests.
